How to Play Tabletop Soccer

Tabletop Soccer is one of our favorite games.  It takes tremendous skill and patience to score a goal. 

Each opponent stands on an end of the table.  Each takes turn controlling the table. (At no time should both players be maneuvering the table simultaneously.)  The controlling player will always be playing offense with this game (unless you upgrade for an added challenge--see below).  As you maneuver the ball down the field by tilting the table, if you don't land on your designated colored hole to represent a pass, your opponent "steals" the ball from you and places the ball nearest where you turned it over.  It is then their turn to work the ball towards your end of the board.  Causing a back and forth duel until someone scores a goal.  Roll the ball off the table, and that's a side out.  Sound easy?  Not so fast.  Unlike US Tabletop Football, here you only have one hole to score in, making it that much more challenging.  

If you're really looking for a challenge, Tabletop Football will be offering soccer player defenders in the near future.  They will also be exploring offering club logos for the center of the board.

How Do I Order One?
Tabletop Football will be launching their funding campaign to develop this one of a kind game thru Kickstarter.  Kickstarter is one of a number of crowdfunding platforms for gathering money from the public, which circumvents traditional avenues of investment. Project creators choose a deadline and a minimum funding goal. If the goal is not met by the deadline, no funds are collected, a kind of assurance contract. Beginning Sept 8th and running thru October 8th Tabletop Football will seek to raise $45,000.  They will be offering Tabletop Football along with 7 other interchangeable game tops.  Upon reaching their goal, they will immediately begin reengineering, manufacturing, and packaging their game for the US and International market.
